The owner said the by-in just to sale Trek was $30,000 and his shop was too small to afford that, but he had others I looked at. One was a fat bike that I took for a spin, I mean this thing had some monstrous tires on it and I road through some soft dirt without a problem; $1200 was the only problem.

I kept calling out between bites to everyone that the food was really great. Unfortunately, I got so involved in a conversation with Charles, Dave and Pat that I didn’t notice the time and missed out on getting seconds of the fantastic food. It was probably just as well because by the time I arrived home I realized how full I really was. Dave told me earlier that he was having problems with his fuel system so I followed him home; he only lives just around the block... about a mile.

***** Stuff I Wrote this Month******
Dim has the Earth become, not as bright as yesterday's, a bit of gray replaced this light, once shining brightly from a friend who passed away....

Writing is a creative art where words come from our heart and the darkest depths of our being, to take twenty-six letters of the alphabet and turn them into some kind of meaning, and if by chance we arrange them just right they may be worth your reading.

Stop focusing so much on who you are but on what you can become.

High above some lofty forest, shadows cover moonless midnight, bleak depression settles into madness, a deeper darkness shall you not fear. Passionate sorrows harvest what’s left of my life, it withers away at pitted soul. Deeply entrenched my vile desires, retained against a fortress of trepidation, now released upon an unknowing world.
Blighted coldness and worms do creep, over old bones of what’s left of me, for now it be said that I have fled and the laughter has ceased to be. Angst and regret crust over wounds running deep and eyes of wonder sparkle no more. Love has trickled away from once mortal life, and keeps me from loving thee.

When I go out at night I bask in the light of a billion stars and some of that light is from galaxies millions of light years away. Most I cannot see with my naked eyes, but I know their light is out there to be seen, you just have to know where to look.

They call me 10 o’clock Bob around here. I’ve been a night person all my life and would fall asleep in class in grade school and high school and had very lousy grades. No one understood why I had bad grades because supposedly I scored high on the mandatory IQ test they had us take. It wasn’t until I went to college that I excelled because I had planned my classes during the afternoon and evening hours and did my homework while working on a graveyard shift. I think kids with the same problem as I could benefit by getting up later in the day for school, but until our school system discovers that one size does not fit all when it comes to circadian rhythms, kids will be likely to fail and be called lazy as I was. Yes, 7am is an ungodly hour for some of us!

We always end up where we’re supposed to be given the choices we make, be it a nine to five job, bringing up a family, writing and publishing books or homeless in some dank dark back alley covered in cardboard cuddled up with our last bottle of cheap wine. Everyone has a chance to excel, but not everyone takes it.
